Department of Information and Technology manages the City of Seattle's portals for community and civic information and electronic participation.

The Technology Matching Fund provides funding to Seattle organizations and neighborhood groups for citizen-driven technology literacy and access projects. Neighborhood-based or citywide organizations may apply.

Community Technology Program lists sources for technological funding and support for community groups and offers a collection of online tutorial and lesson plans on computers and creating web pages.

Community Technology Access Site Directory lists Seattle community sites and services that provide training and access to technology. Services range from Internet access, computer training, video production facilities, web sites and more.

Seattle Channel is the government access cable channel granted to the City of Seattle for the purposes of cablecasting government television programs. Arts programming includes interviews with authors as well as documentaries about arts organizations, artist bios, performances, and experimental films.
