American Dance Guild
A non-profit organization concerned with promoting the art of dance. The ADG serves the needs of performers, choreographers, teachers and students through all stages of their development and careers.

Arts Northwest
Encourages performing arts touring in the Northwest through education, communication, and information sharing. Arts Northwest performing arts presenters of all kinds from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Canada and elsewhere throughout the region, and affiliate members from across the United States and Canada.

Artslynx - International Theatre Resources
A library of online theater resources including general resources, magazines, acting and directing resources, and more.

Association of Performing Arts Presenters
A national membership organization which addresses presenting and touring issues. The annual conference is held in New York City in January each year and includes workshops, an exhibit hall, performances and meetings. The Association also provides many publications, books, resource materials and funding sources.

BC Touring Council
Serves presenters and touring professional artists in British Columbia, Canada. Its goals are to expand touring opportunities, promote audience development and advocate for artists and presenters.

Dance Professionals Associates
Supports the needs of current and future dance professionals both nationally and internationally, by providing access to information and resources needed for career development and personal security.

Dance Theater Workshop
Devoted to the support and exposure of independent, non-mainstream, non-institutional, experimental and culturally diverse artists in dance, theater, music, performance and mixed media. Offers a comprehensive member services program for artists.

Dance USA
Seeks to advance the art form of dance by addressing the needs, concerns, and interests of professional dance. Dance/USA offers four major program areas in service to the field: Public Communications, Information Services, Professional Development/Dance Forum, and Special Projects.

The Dramatists Guild of America
Provides resources and support to playwrights, composers, and lyricists who have written dramatic pieces.

The Field
The Field is a non-profit arts service organization providing workshops, performance opportunities, and a variety of career-based services to performing artists working in dance, theater, performance art, music, and text. Our non-curated programming policy creates a climate where risk-taking and originality are championed, and where the broadest range of voices can be heard. Contact

GoTour
GoTour is an interactive website that features extensive information about performing arts communities nationwide, including profiles written by artists who live and work in each locale, information on Òunder the radarÓ venues and outreach opportunities, listings of local resources, as well as marketing tools such as newspapers and radio stations. Users are encouraged to log on and add information on their local arts community.

Northwest Booking Conference c/o Arts Northwest
An annual forum where performing artists and presenters meet, discuss block-booking and touring, and address other issues surrounding the performing arts in the Northwest. The multi-day event offers a range of activities including workshops, showcase performances, an exhibit hall, guest speakers, meetings, block-booking sessions and social events.

National Performance Network
A group of diverse cultural organizers, including artists, working to create meaningful partnerships and to provide leadership that enables the practice and public experience of the performing arts in the United States. National Performance Network is comprised of 62 members, called Primary Partners, in forty cities across every region of the United States.

StageDirect
A new venture that records top-quality live performance (primarily fringe theater) on digital video. The Web site also provides extensive links to theater resources.

Theatre Communications Group
A national service organization that exists to strengthen, nurture and promote the not-for-profit American theater. Programs and services include grants to theaters and theater artists, an employment bulletin, and extensive resources for the theater.

Western Arts Alliance
A membership organization of touring and performing arts professionals engaged in promoting and presenting performing arts.
