American Composers Alliance
A membership organization serving US composers of concert music. The Alliance publishes, promotes, records and broadcasts the music of its members.
American Composers Forum
Building two-way relationships between artists and the public, the Forum develops programs that educate today's and tomorrow's audiences, energizes composers' careers, and stimulates entrepreneurship and collaboration.
American Symphony Orchestra League
The national service organization for symphony orchestras. The League serves orchestra administrators, board members, volunteers, conductors and musicians through education training programs, research and technical services, publications, and advocacy in public affairs.
American Federation of Musicians
Better known as the Musicians' Union or Musicians' Mutual Association, there is a local chapter in most cities and mid-sized towns. Benefits include insurance plans, discounted legal services, work referrals and opportunities, a credit union and listing of members and bands in an annual directory.
American Music Center
A non-profit organization which offers general information on new American music such as contact information for composers and performers, funding sources and awards available to the new music community, and a library of scores and recordings.

A networking and information source for members who are performers, managers and presenters involved in chamber music. Member services include grant programs, technical assistance, group health insurance rates, instrument insurance, and a magazine subscription.
The Dramatists Guild of America
Provides resources and support to playwrights, composers, and lyricists who have written dramatic pieces.
National Endowment for the Arts
Provides a resource center that provides links to resources for funding, accessibility, and other services.
OPERA America
Promotes opera as exciting and accessible to individuals from all walks of life and serves and strengthens the field of opera by providing a variety of informational, technical, and administrative resources to the entire opera community.
