STARTING A PROGRAM :: PUBLIC ART PLANS

Developing a comprehensive framework for public art can help a community define what it wants public art to accomplish, the opportunities for weaving art into community growth, and the resources necessary to make this happen. In the last 20 years, there have been exemplary public art plans developed by the Link outside of City of Seattle web Cultural Arts Council of Houston, the Link outside of City of Seattle web Phoenix Arts Commission, Link outside of City of Seattle web Fairmount Park Art Association of Philadelphia and Link outside of City of Seattle web Arts Broward in Florida.

Americans for the Arts has included Link outside of City of Seattle web additional information on public art planning.
