STARTING A PROGRAM

There are many examples of art programs and projects that have succeeded in enhancing public places. These range from unique public art projects created in response to specific circumstances or connected to a particular building development, to community-based public art projects, to comprehensive public art programs that are formally incorporated into the way that cities, counties, and state governments conduct their business.
