Your Organization and the IRS Whether you're a not-for-profit, a small business or a sole proprietorship, like it or not, you have to interact with the Internal Revenue Service, otherwise known as the IRS, at least once a year. While you may find it hard to believe, the IRS is making a greater effort to be accessible and service-oriented. Their main goal is to make it easier for you to file the right paperwork on time.
